X-Lite Pinching Stick Ends 10mm and 15mm pinch area
thingiverse
There's been a lot of chatter about not being able to pinch with an X-Lite, but plenty of folks have proven them wrong, and everyone agrees that longer sticks would be a big plus. I checked out Thingiverse and wasn't impressed with what was available, so I figured I'd design my own. The best size and length are up to personal preference, so I printed four different sizes: 5mm, 6mm, 7mm, and 8mm, then closed my eyes and touched each one to see which felt most secure in my hand - the 7mm diameter stick won out. Thingiverse designs were all too smooth for me, causing my fingers to slide right off, so I added a texture to make it easier to hold on tight without slipping. The model looks sharper than what you'll actually get from your printer (unless you're using an SLA printer). To get the best result, print at 0.1mm resolution with one perimeter and solid infill. Since these sticks are threaded, I highly recommend printing them at 0.1mm for smooth threads. No support is needed, but for even better results, try printing each stick individually and let your slicer slow down for short prints. The F360 file is included.
