UPDATE 4/28/2019 I've spent more time learning and tweaking my techniques to achieve better results using different nozzle diameters. To that end, I've added two new heights for even layering with a given nozzle diameter. The first option is an 111mm tall block designed for sitting on the frame, printed using a 0.8mm Nozzle at a 0.6mm layer height. The second option is a 112mm tall block also intended for frame use, but this time using a 0.4mm Nozzle at a 0.32mm layer height. I recommend 10% infill for these blocks, especially if you're using 2 perimeters with the 0.8mm nozzle or 3 perimeters with the 0.4mm nozzle. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hello everyone! This is my first shared project, and it's a simple one, but it helped me solve some print issues and level my bed. Here's what you need to do: Print two of these blocks and place them on your frame (one next to the control box and the other behind the LCD display). This will allow you to see how level your X axis gantry is in relation to the frame. To adjust the gantry, loosen the screws holding the v-wheel mounts on either side. Then, align the gantry flat against the blocks and re-tighten them. I've also included an optional version that takes into account the space behind the LCD panel if you've already printed a rear cover for it - this will make it easier to fit the block behind the panel. Another option (though not the best way, just FYI) is to print two of these blocks and place them on your print bed if it's already level. This will also allow you to see how level your X axis gantry is in relation to the frame. I found these blocks useful, so I thought I'd share them with everyone. I created this design using TinkerCAD just for reference. Thanks and happy printing! Note: These blocks are intended to be the following heights, just in case your scaling comes out weird on your slicer: The print bed version is 40mm tall (though this option has been made obsolete) The frame versions are 111mm/112mm tall
