X-ends for holding 20x20 extrusion bushings/nuts

X-ends for holding 20x20 extrusion bushings/nuts

thingiverse

In this video (almost, as it uses bushings instead of LM8UUs), x-ends are shown that can be used with a simple Z-nut or dual Z-nut with spring pair and fit M8 or similar rods, like acme 1/4" ones. These x-ends hold a single 20x20 extrusion rather than x-rods. An integrated bolt holder in both ends is meant to interface with a z-endstop held in the lower part from Thingiverse (thingiverse.com/thing:28425). Additionally, these x-ends are designed to use a pair of 605ZZ bearings for the idler; if you prefer using 608ZZs, you'll need to enlarge the hole before or after printing.
