X-end motor mount with integrated printed bearing
thingiverse
I aimed to design a fully printable component that doesn't rely on extra bearings. To achieve this, I eliminated the LM8UU bearing holder and opted for an integrated bearing instead. Additionally, I modified the nut holder to accommodate a 1/4" nut and rod since metric parts are not readily available locally, which would have been more costly than necessary. While I plan to upgrade to a linear rod in the future due to my preference for quieter operation when motors move at high speeds.
