I'm reposting this text, as I didn't create it and can't find the original source. This upgrade is a fantastic improvement for Xcarve machines. It incorporates 18mm diameter magnets that are 5mm thick - I picked them up at Home Depot's hardware section, right next to the nuts and bolts.
