I created a custom bracket to install a second micro-switch on the X carriage of my Xcarve, allowing me to retain normal homing and hard limit functionality while using GRBL. This setup enables me to connect both switches in parallel. To utilize the two unused M4 holes aligned with the existing homing micro-switch, I needed to acquire specific components: - 2 M4 screws with lengths between 12mm and 14mm - 1 MicroSwitch unit - 1 M3 tap for enlarging the microswitch holes (Note: This step is only necessary if your micro-switch has a hole diameter of 2.4mm, as mine does. If your switch has different dimensions, please avoid using the tap to prevent creating an unintended shortcut with the screw.)
