X-Carve reverse drag link bracket
pinshape
I remade the bracket that my 1000mm X-Carve uses on the left side bottom and I'm now using it on my 500mm X-Carve, with a twist: I reversed it to feed cables out the back of the system. I wasn't happy with the drag link chains on my 500mm X-Carve, so I printed new ones based on the 1000mm version. The model is a standard bracket, but I flipped it in Cura to get a reverse that's correctly oriented when attached to the back rail. You might have noticed my front and back rails under the waste board are longer and sticking out - that's because I installed longer rails to make it easier to mount my X-Carve to the cabinet I built. Instructions: Print with full infill since this is a support part. Print large flat side down for best results. Press two M4 nuts into the top shelf; it's tight, but they hold securely in place. To run this on the back of your X-Carve, simply mirror flip it in your slicing software - otherwise, it works perfectly on the front.
