X-Carve Drag chain support arm brackets

These custom brackets are engineered to securely hold a 20x20x958mm extrusion in place at the back of the X axis on a 1000mm X-Carve. My older X-Carve model did not originally come equipped with these brackets, so I repurposed an unused extrusion from my side board kit. The side board extrusion measured 958mm, which is shorter than the standard 1000mm length required for the X axis. To utilize this shorter extrusion, I designed and fabricated these custom brackets to accommodate its unique dimensions.
