I modified a dial gauge mount to fit on my X-Carve CNC Router. It attaches securely to the M4 threaded holes located on the side of the tool clamp, replacing an existing mounting system that was too restrictive for my dial gauge. To install this custom dial gauge mount, you will need three M4 x 12mm screws to secure it firmly to your machine. The dial gauge itself utilizes a 1-inch long 1/4"-20 bolt and nut for accurate positioning.
