X-Carve 2016 Drag Chain Brackets

I am upgrading my Shapeoko 2 to an X-Carve derivative, which prompted me to notice that they updated the way drag chain mounts are designed. Upon reviewing the PDF files for the new parts, I imported them into Sketchup and converted them into 3D printable versions. The 30527 part is thicker than its original counterpart, constructed from approximately 1.5mm steel. To enhance stability, I increased the thickness to 4mm and added a small brace that may prove unnecessary. I printed these parts with layer direction optimized to minimize the risk of separation when bolted to the carriages. I also modified 30527 to accommodate the drag chain ends I possess, which I have uploaded for reference. The original design assumes hole centers are 8mm apart; however, I have provided a v2 version that optimizes bolt placement by utilizing holes spaced 12mm apart. The drag chain brackets serve as crucial components, securing the drag chain to the carriages. Specifically: * Two 30527-05 Drag Chain Brackets are required: * One for the back of the X carriage (see instructions at x-carve-instructions.inventables.com/1000mm/step2b/6dragchain/) * One for the left side Y carriage plate (consult http://x-carve-instructions.inventables.com/1000mm/step2a/6dragchain/) * Support arms, which mount to the outside of the Y carriage plates, are used to support a length of 2020 extrusion. Print the L version for the left side and the R version for the right side. * I printed my parts in ABS at a layer height of 0.2mm. The 30681 part appears robust and should function adequately once it has the extrusion mounted between its components. This is an ongoing project, and I will update this information once I have confirmed their effectiveness. I have also uploaded the Sketchup model for reference. Upon completing my Shapeoko 2 to X-Carve upgrade, I installed these parts and verified that they function perfectly.
