This device is designed to work seamlessly with T2.5 or GT2 belts, ensuring a perfect fit. The specified hole spacing measures exactly 30mm. To adjust the belt tension, simply use the provided M3 screw. This design is heavily based on Thingiverse's model #135353. Compared to traditional pulley-based belt tensioners, this system boasts several significant advantages: Firstly, it provides a far more gradual and progressive adjustment of the tension: a single turn of the M3 screw results in a 0.5mm extension of the belt, as opposed to a 1mm extension in traditional pulley-based designs. Secondly, this system is inherently more stable than its pulley-based counterpart: unlike the idler pulley in the other design, which remains somewhat "floating", this device fixes the position, providing a rock-solid foundation for precise adjustments.
