I designed it from scratch using 123Design, similar to http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1302584. It's specifically for http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1246951. I was told that it should be able to mount any extruder that uses the 23x23mm hole pattern, such as the NEMA17 "Wade" i3 rework. Thank you, Toranado3D. I modified it to work with 45mm bearing LM8LUU and added an adjustable belt compatible with Wanhao or similar printers that don't use an adjuster. I even included a 2.5mm belt option (not tested). The cable hole seems to work without needing any additional support. Here's a detailed breakdown: I've added an adjuster to tighten the belt, which can be secured with a tiewrap. The design doesn't require any supports apart from where the bridge needs removal. It's suitable for 45mm bearings and comes with both GT2 and 2.5mm belts. However, on Wanhao, the belt is slightly too short, so you may need to replace it (check first). To assemble it, follow the photo: break off the corner, clean up with a hot iron, push in Brass Knurl Nuts using a hot iron, and flush them to the surface before tightening with a screw. Quickly use the screw to straighten. To test the belt, connect up the GT2 belt, and make sure the adjuster has a washer with a 20mm screw. Place the GT2 belt in before screwing it in, as shown in the photo. You're now ready to put it together. First, ensure LM8LUU is set up properly. Insert the base and slide in both LM8LUU bearings; you'll see them lock in place but still remain loose. Secure the covers with 22mm screws, tightening just enough for them to grip. Then, slide the carriage end to end, making sure it moves freely. If you have a belt ready to add, ensure it's the correct length and screw it in securely. Adjust the length if necessary, ensuring the screw doesn't cut into the belt on the other side. Don't add tiewrap yet; instead, apply it when the belt is almost tight, securing both ends of the belt within the adjuster. Cut off any excess, then adjust until it's correct. Now your carriage end is free from loose objects and ready to be placed onto the Toranado extruder. I found it quick to assemble in about 5 minutes. It took me a long time designing and testing, but now that I've resolved my past issues, it's paid off. Here are the required parts: * 5x M3 22mm screws * 1x M3 20mm screw * 6x M3x4mm Brass Knurl Nuts * 1x M3 plain washer * 1x tiewrap 2.5mm 100mm * 2 x LM8LUU (45mmx15mmx8mm) * 2 extra pieces of thin layers for testing the x_stop switch, which can be secured with a bump or an adhesive Print Settings: Printer: Sintron Prusa Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 33% Notes: 4 primitive walls, 3 top, 3 bottom, no fan Drill requirements for 3.2mm and 4mm. Uses PLA with a heated bed.
