X-carriage for Odicforce laser
thingiverse
This is a custom print for the Thingiverse project located at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:610934. I've designed an X-carriage for my new laser, which was purchased from Odicforce. The heatsink supplied by Odicforce has been mounted with four back holes and stands out with its greater height and width. Given that the fan is directly attached to the heat sink, there's no need to incorporate a cooling fan mount into the design. Additionally, a slider was incorporated to help increase the vertical slide capability. On 2/1/2016, an updated version of the Carriage_plateV2 was integrated, allowing for increased laser unit travel. The print settings used are as follows: Printer Type: RepRap Specific Model: Prusa I3 Use of Rafts: None required Presence of Supports: Not needed Layer Resolution: 0.2 mm Infill Percentage: 50%
