I had issues with the hexagonal M3 nuts sometimes spinning in the PET-G so I came up with a solution.\r\n\r\nThis is the "X_Carriage_2.1.3 - STD" by vergienc, modified to accommodate square nuts instead of hexagons. All credit goes to the original creator, vergienc. Like the original design, it's optimized for 8mm rods and 15mm wide bearings.\r\n\r\nThe holes for the M3 nuts are 6x6x3mm and can fit most variations.\r\nTo make this work, I had to adjust the hole positions inside the bushing holder to match those in the middle section. This change allows for 16mm M3 screws instead of 10mm. Hopefully, I didn't introduce any other modifications to the excellent design.\r\n\r\nI personally use these M4M DIN 562 nuts:\r\nhttps://fastpro.se/produkt/m4m_din_562_blankforzinkad_fyrkantsmutter\r\n\r\nAs always, I'm including Fusion360 files. I hope this is okay with the original creator, vergienc.\r\n\r\nShow your appreciation by sharing your makes and any remixes you create.
