This is an updated version of the X-Belt Printer Carriage file sourced directly from the Geeetech website for the Geeetech Prusa i3 Pro-C. The original part's cramped space restricts free movement of the X-Belt, prompting modifications to carve out additional room for it. Proper printer function relies on ample belt clearance. The X-Belt Carriage was downloaded from Geeetech and tailored with expanded dimensions for improved belt accommodation. A printed version now serves as a reliable replacement when needed. While my Dremel handling might be questionable, the revised carriage fits various Prusa i3 Pro iterations (B to D). Despite this revision, a potential concern persists. The original X-Belt Carriage's lack of space hindered slide bearings insertion; some of them even snapped during attempts to fit them in before makeshift repair with adhesive, which fortunately held so far. I haven't assessed whether the current file retains this issue. Update: Nov 24, 2015 Duel extruder issues plagued me as one filament release tab collided with a z-bar prior to the end-stop contact, necessitating a new carriage design. If you encounter similar issues with your printer, seek alternative replacement carriages from updated uploads, especially if they ensure smooth and precise interaction between switch contacts and print head mechanisms.
