I recently released a new tensioner designed specifically for use with my own x-axis parts, offering improved performance and reliability. This latest version builds upon the same robust design but incorporates key modifications tailored to suit the stock x-axis on the Anet A8, including the ABS printed x-axis sides - although it may also work with injection-moulded parts. This custom-designed tensioner is specifically oriented for printing with built-in supports, which will need to be carefully removed after printing. This includes cutting away the supports from the underside of the two prongs, inside the central rectangular hole, and most of the cylinder in the center. To ensure optimal performance, it's essential to leave an equal amount of the central cylinder on either side, allowing the idler wheel to move freely while still providing sufficient stability.
