X Axis Motor Mount and Idler

This design will not receive any further revisions unless specifically requested and I have the time to accommodate the request. If you would like to create a customized version of this particular design, simply send me a message and I'll be happy to provide you with the source OpenSCAD file. This is an alternative version of printable x-Axis parts for the left and right sides of the x carriage that prioritizes features that can be easily printed over optimal filament use. It incorporates holes for a total of 8 M3 square nuts, 4 for each leadscrew part, to ensure secure fastening. The x idler position is slightly wider to accommodate toothed idler bearings, but this file is not recommended if you don't have an idler wheel with raised edges to keep the belt in line. I would caution against mixing these parts with those from other designs due to possible variations in dimensions and rod positions among designers. However, if you're confident in your ability to identify any potential issues, feel free to give it a try. Please note that my photo of the x motor mount includes an additional part not designed by me. If you're looking for the part attached to the front of the x motor, I obtained this print from the following user's thing on Thingiverse: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1776429 The x motor part also utilizes an endstop mounting position similar to the version used in the Anet A8 machine at the time of writing.
