I purchased a Geeetech i3 B, which functions smoothly except for the Y-axis wobble issue. To address this problem, I created my own remix of the Y-axis wobble remover and installed it successfully. The Geeetech i3 B has proven to be an excellent machine after applying this modification. My experience with 3D printing began with a remix i3, which unfortunately struggled with build strength issues - that's why I decided to buy the Geeetech i3 B. However, my first printer had persistent problems with its X-axis parts, and despite printing several modifications, they didn't have a significant impact. To make matters more straightforward: I discovered an upgrade kit for the Geeetech X Axis on eBay and wondered if it could be adapted to my initial printer. After adding a few components, I was able to integrate this kit with my problem printer and it has worked flawlessly for several months now. If you're building or upgrading an i3, I highly recommend skipping the printing of the i3 plastic X Axis parts and purchasing the Geeetech upgrade kit instead. Printing the mods that I created for my Geeetech i3 B will further enhance its performance, making it a worthwhile investment.
