X Axis Hot End Connector Fixed for T Nut Drag Chain Mount - Ender 3
thingiverse
This is a remix of Tobi0892's "X_axis_hotend_connector_20mm" made to fit their "X_axis_chain_mount_t_nut", this will not fit the slide on chain mount. I'm sure there was a cleaner way of going about this remix, unfortunately I have yet to watch that youtube video and this is the extent of my (almost non-existent) tinker skill level. So there is definitely room for improvement! Upon printing all the parts needed to install drag chains to my Ender 3 V2, I decided not to use the slide on chain mount as I didn't want to remove then reinstall my led's, so I opted for the t nut version. Like a few others, I noticed that the hot end connector doesn't line up with the tnut version of the chain mount. I saw a few remixes of the t nut version chain mount but I felt none of them left enough clearance for the m5 bolt heads like the original did. I added 5mm to the depth of Tobi0892's "X_axis_hotend_connector_20mm", the first photo shows his next to my remix. The 2nd photo shows my remix along with another option where I cut out a small space to access the screw on the fan casing. I did end up making that space a bit smaller, so the file has a smaller space than the photo of the print.
