I moved the X-axis endstop/homing switch towards the center of the print bed in my Hic Prusa i3 setup. By doing so, I prevent the fan shroud and extruder nozzle from colliding with the hex bolt heads that hold the print bed in place. It may not look polished, but it functions well.
