The Prusa i3 allows you to use your digital caliper to quickly and easily calibrate/test the X axis with precision. No more tedious slow calibration prints required. Simply place the open caliper in its mount, reset it to zero, then carefully move the bed in the direction that closes the caliper. Remember to ensure the bed movement is less than the caliper opening at all times, so the caliper remains slightly ajar and avoids damaging your printer altogether.
