x axis Belt Tensioner
thingiverse
I was fed up with my belt stretching over time, so I set out to find an easier way to tighten it. To start, insert a 4 mm cap screw into the fan mount and secure it with a backup nut - but leave this loose until your belt is snugly in place. Next, install the 4mm nut into the end piece, then attach it to the cap screw. Now's the time to swap out the old fan mount for a brand new one. Once that's done, you can slide on the belt and hold it in place with some wire ties. Finally, give that cap screw a good tighten as needed - your work isn't quite done yet though!
