X- Axis Belt Mounting Bracket (Cocoon Create, Wanhao Di3 v2, etc.)
thingiverse
The design has been upgraded with a ratchet tensioner available here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1455213 The X-Axis belt configuration on the Cocoon Create isn't well designed. This is my attempt to improve the termination brackets and slide, making it a little better than before. It mounts securely with 2x m4 screws using the unused outer threaded holes of the upper linear bearing blocks. It's specifically designed for the Cocoon Create but should work similarly on Wanhao Duplicator I3 v2 and other re-badged Duplicators with triple steel x-axis bearing blocks. A built-in tensioner might be a good idea, as this bracket reduces limit clearances a little, forcing the spring tensioner to be placed close by. If I figure out how to solve that issue, I'll update the design. Printer Settings: Printer: Cocoon Create (Wanhao Duplicator I3 v2) Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 50% Notes: It's a critical part, so use high infill / shell layer counts for added durability.
