X and Y-End-Idler for Smooth Axles - MK3(S+)

<p>The threaded bolts as axes for the X and Y idlers are, in my opinion, Prusa's biggest design flaw. It shortens their lifespan too much.</p><p>Here is an alternative for smooth axles. I used 3mm spring steel rods and shorted them with a Dremel. I also replaced the original idlers with double bearing 16T-idlers and filled them with some grease between the bearings.</p><p>Axle lengthes:<br>Y-ender - 23mm<br>X-ender - 18mm</p><p>(Parts are remixes of the original R4-Y-ender and the R6-X-ender)</p>
