X and Y Belt Tensioner for Reach3d

X and Y Belt Tensioner for Reach3d

X and Y GT2 6mm width belt tensioners tighten belts of everything. Pull the belts taut before sliding the belt into the jaws to secure it, then adjust the screw to further tighten the belts. Your results may differ. The X axis is particularly suited for mounting on the Reach3D printer. The tensioner pivots evenly distributing tension on both sides of the belt because the belt wraps around and meets up with itself unlike the Y axis belt. X Belt Tensioner Components: ~X-AxisBeltTensionMount ~PivotWheel ~WheelTension ~M3 screw (The hole is sized for self-tapping) The Y axis tensioner is essentially an end cap for 2020 extruded aluminum, and it may work on other printers if the belt ends at the end of the 2020. Pull the belt taut and slide it into the jaws to hold it in place. Two mirrored units will be installed on each side of my printer to tension both sides evenly and provide more room for tightening the belt. When installing, I accidentally broke the middle rod, so the 4 T's that slide into the groove should be long enough to keep it stable without the middle rod. Y Belt Tensioner Components: ~2020BeltTension ~ScrewBlock (This can be omitted if your screw doesn't cut into the belt) ~M5 Screw (Due to how thin the wall is, I used a tap to pre-tap the hole) Printer Settings: Printer: Reach3D Resolution: 0.1 mm Infill: 50% Notes: A 3-shell layer was used to help with overhangs on the 2020BeltTensioner. All parts were printed together, and only the X-AxisTensionBeltMount requires supports.
