X-ACTO Knife #1

X-ACTO Knife #1

The X-ACTO USA craft knife comes with four distinct blade varieties to cater to various applications. These are initially included in my project called "X-ACTO Knife Set." Additional components, including two knife handles and a blade, will be added later along with a storage box. The spring ring on the collet holds the inserted blade firmly before tightening it using the collet nut. The collet is designed in its manufactured state, allowing a small radial interference between itself and the collet nut. There's also a 0.1mm clearance between the knife blade slots and the collet. The metrical threads (M11 x 0.75) are theoretically modelled without clearance. Files for download include STEP-file (.stp) of two assemblies, native files (.prt) and (.asm) in two (.zip) folders for users of PTC Creo Parametric 2.0.
