X-Acto Blade Tray
prusaprinters
Organizer tray with 6 small compartments and 1 long compartment, for sorting/storing different sizes of Xacto and/or scalpel blades. The tray fits into a 25-card box for collectible cards (such as those made by UltraPro, and works for the boxes with either a hinged or a separate lid). It will actually fit into any standard card box, but the height is made for a 25-card box. You could also skip the card box altogether. The hollow support pillars friction-fit 6mm tall x 6mm diameter cylindrical neodymium magnets (easily found on eBay) to hold the blades in place. Typically 3 blades can be stacked before the magnet can no longer hold the topmost blade firmly.Print using any filament type (I used PLA) at 0.2mm layer height, 15-20% infill (doesn't matter much), support/brim not needed.Press the cylindrical magnets into each hollow pillar. If the magnet diameter is accurate, friction should hold them in place. You can shim them with a strand of stretched filament if necessary. Glue or epoxy can also be used.Print SettingsRafts: NoSupports: NoResolution: 200Infill: 20Filament: PLA
