The Polish Army's Armored Car Model 1928 was a heavily fortified vehicle developed during the 1920s. This armored car was built on top of a Citroën-Kegresse B2 10CV half-track chassis, which was originally designed by the French company Citroën. The Polish Army quickly adopted this vehicle as its standard issue armored car due to its impressive capabilities and rugged design. However, in 1933, the model's slow speed and reliability issues forced the Polish Army to return these vehicles to the factory for an upgrade. A major overhaul ensued, resulting in the creation of a new all-wheel-drive version known as the Armored Car Model 1934.
