WyzeCam V-Slot Mount

WyzeCam V-Slot Mount

I'm obsessed with the compact $20 cameras from Wyze (www.wyzecam.com), but their magnetic mount holds them back. This design lets you securely attach a Wyze Cam v2 to V-Slot extrusions, commonly used for 3D printer frames. I've included STLs for two versions of the mount: one with a standard v-slot profile depth and another with a reduced profile depth for use with "drop-in" tee nuts. Fusion 360 source code is available for those who want to customize the design further, such as adjusting the height (see attached photo to see the adjustable parameters). To use this mount, remove the rubber pads from the Wyze base using adhesive remover or a solvent. Underneath, you'll find screws that need to be removed to detach the base plate. The pivot hardware will come off with it, which can be reused for attaching the mount. You'll also need a tee-nut and an M5x10mm screw (preferably flat head) to attach the Wyze Cam v2 securely. If the hardware starts to loosen over time, apply some purple thread-locker to keep everything in place.
