Wyze Rotating Porch Light

Wyze Rotating Porch Light

Rotating porch light turret for Wyze Cam Pan. It features four locking tabs that secure firmly into an 8-inch base plate attached to a standard porch light, with the plate measuring 8 inches in diameter. The base plate boasts a 0.25-inch channel for inserting a USB cable or powering the cam directly from the bulb socket. While the design shows promise, it still has room for refinement, particularly in the gantry area. I've included an AutoCAD file to enable customization or improvement of the design. To assemble this turret, use #8 American machine screws and nuts: four 2-inch screws, four 0.5-inch screws, and four corresponding nuts. Important Tip: 1. To facilitate easier nut installation, heat them on a stove using a screw as a skewer and then press them firmly into the tabs if they won't fit (due to a tight fit). 2. Don't forget to flip the camera orientation to 180 degrees within the Wyze app settings.
