This project was created for personal enjoyment, but using the mount comes with inherent risks, particularly when deployed outside as I have done. This low-profile mount is designed specifically for the WYZE Pan Tilt Security Camera and can be used to invert the camera's position. The mount utilizes a standard tripod interface, making it versatile for other applications. To assemble the mount, you will need a 1/4-inch diameter hex bolt with a shaft length of exactly 1/2 inch and 20 threads. I sourced my bolt from True Value, recommending one that resists rust. Refer to the provided images for precise measurements. Additionally, three screws are required; I utilized Sheetrock screws. Once the print is complete (approximately 30 minutes with 20% infill), insert the hex bolt through the hole from the opposite side to clear any obstructions. Then, align the bolt head with the mount and press it firmly into place. If the bolt does not fit fully, place the head down on a hard surface and apply pressure until flush. Secure the mount to the camera, taking care not to overtighten and damage the motor. Next, mark the side of the mount where the Micro USB port aligns with a marker, facilitating the identification of the camera's rear orientation. Remove the mount from the camera and install it securely, using caution when drilling pilot holes to avoid damaging wires or pipes. Finally, screw the camera firmly into place.
