WYZE Pan and Tilt Offset Corner Mount (270 Degrees) / Can be inverted.

This project is a hobby endeavor and, although I have found it to be functional for my purposes, its use at your own risk, particularly when used outdoors, should be understood. The mount will not shield the camera from precipitation, heat, cold or humidity in any way. A very compact offset corner mount designed specifically for the WYZE Pan Tilt Security Camera is available here. It can be mounted upside down and allows the camera to view approximately 270 degrees around corners. This type of mount is quite handy when only one camera is being used to cover a large area. The mount uses standard Tripod mount dimensions, so it may also be suitable for other applications. To use this mount, a hex bolt with precise specifications is required. It should have a 1/4 inch diameter shaft and exactly 20 threads per inch, as well as an exact length of 1/2 an inch for the shaft. I purchased my bolt at True Value (I highly recommend using one that will not rust if used in damp or wet conditions, such as outdoors.) Refer to the photos for accurate dimensions of the hex bolt. Additionally, two screws are needed; I utilized Sheetrock screws to attach it to a corner stub wall (Please see the photos.) When the part is printed (which takes approximately half an hour with 20 percent infill) screw the hex bolt from the opposite side, ensuring clearance through the hole. Once complete, insert it in the other direction as far as possible. Align the head of the bolt to the mount and press it firmly into place (I designed this to be snugly fitted) if you are unable to push it in all the way, place the bolt head down on a strong hard surface and press the mount down until the head is flush. Then screw the mount onto the camera until it is securely in place (not too tight to damage the motor,) you should now be able to see where the USB power port is located. Depending on alignment, you may need to use a large thin washer to achieve the desired position for the power cable. Remove the mount from the camera and install it (you may want to use a pilot drill, being careful not to damage any wires or pipes.) You can now screw your camera in place until it is firmly secured.
