<h1>Wyze Lighthouse costume</h1> My mom adores lighthouses. I purchased a Wyze cam for security reasons, and she loves it. This costume brings her joy every time she sees it. It's a win-win situation. <b>Notes:</b> To assemble the lighthouse, I applied CA glue to the rail and lens base, securing them to the floor. I also attached the lamp to the roof using glue. A small alignment hole on the base allowed me to use a scrap piece of filament to match up the parts while gluing in place. I used Hatchbox Wood for the rails but found that even with four perimeters, they were quite fragile. Perhaps infill would have provided a more stable structure. Adding a small LED light inside the lighthouse could create an impressive effect. The lamp serves two purposes: it provides a lip on the roof for attaching the lens and its refractive properties offer an interesting interior view of the lighthouse light. To achieve this look, I printed the lens in clear filament, the rails in Wood, the base of the lens in a darker contrasting color, and the lamp in that same color.
