First point PLA does not work well in the rain. Spray paint to seal the top surface of a PLA roof. The night vision infra red led lighting scatters some light back into camera, spray paint the bottom of the roof in front of lens flat black for improved night vision. The roof gutter prevents water drips rolling off the roof and triggering the motion detector. Designed for a friction fit over the camera top, slip the roof over the top edge of the camera a few mm. If you have a very windy location secure with some tape. Use some thin sheet material like a clear overhead projector or a copier transparency sheet and fashion into a three sided cone to keep the camera back and sides dry and don't forget to extend below the USB power plug. I used a plastic box but an inverted small bucket will keep the adapter and the end of the power extension cord dry. If you have many days of driving horizontal rain this roof might not be wide enough for you, so far its good for me. The roof surface is horizontally only 0.8mm thick. Print using a 0.4mm line width and 0.1mm layer thickness. Designed in Fusion 360 and printed on a Cetus mkii extended -Peter
