UPDATE: Quickly revised smaller printable version, preserving the roughly 50mm height used to cushion the camera from any hotbed heat, now available for download. *MIGHT* be printable on 100mm volume printers, but verification is pending. WARNING: This revised version has not been thoroughly tested. I literally finished revising the model 5 minutes ago. I'm a huge fan of two distinct additions for 3D printing: timelapses and real-time monitoring to reduce waste in the event of print failure. Enter the Wyze Cam, a camera that offers both features at an affordable price. I own three now, and I must say, they're fantastic. One is pictured here, while another watches the dogs when everyone's away, and the third keeps an eye on the porch to prevent package theft (so far, no issues). Using the rails from the Wyze Cam mount as a reference, I created this print with the hopes it'd be easy on filament and print time. Unfortunately, my first attempt was too narrow, and the rail for the camera itself stuck too far into the print bed, blocking the X-axis crossbar during an Auto Home move. After some experimentation, I finally accepted stretching this design to achieve a better fit. Additional Notes: With 25% infill in the "stars" pattern, 5 shells on all sides, and using the Octagram Spiral surface infill setting from Slic3r, this print took roughly 13 hours and 40 minutes to complete. It's very sturdy. If you use Slic3r, I recommend printing with Adaptive Slicing enabled, as it seems to be highly effective. Also, consider printing it on its back for optimal results.
