WYZE Cam through panel mount

I designed this WYZE Cam mount for my 3D printer cabinet, enabling me to monitor the spool, LED display and cabinet temperature through two Poly carbonate windows - one on the printer and another on the upper shelf. Initially, I had the cameras mounted outside against the window, but when night vision mode was activated, the camera lights reflected back, creating a glare that made it challenging to see past. To resolve this issue, I created a mount that allows the camera to pass through the window or any panel of varying thickness by cutting a rectangular hole. To install the mount, use the trim ring as a template to mark your cutout. Then, apply 1/2" 2-way tape on the backside of the flange and slide it through the cutout from one side, pushing the trim ring onto the other side with or without additional 2-way tape. The ring fits perfectly, allowing it to ratchet over layer lines and lock itself into place. Next, install the magnetic steel mounting disc that came with the camera using the included 3M tape and press it into the recess inside the mount. Finally, slide the camera into place, ensuring a perfect friction fit. To facilitate easy removal of the camera, I made half-round cutouts on both sides of the box, allowing you to grasp the camera and pull it out if necessary. However, if it fits snugly, you may need to provide a gentle assist by pushing from the front of the camera.
