Wyze Cam Pan Threaded Magnetic Mount
thingiverse
Here's a magnetic mount I designed specifically for use with Wyze Cam Pan. My goal was to create an attachment system that would allow the camera to be securely fastened upside down on ductwork, keeping a watchful eye on mouse traps in the basement. To assemble this design, you'll need a 1/2 inch Neodymium magnet, which should be inserted into the print when it's paused. There's ample space for a loose 1/2 inch magnet, but make sure not to rescale the model - if you do, the threads won't screw properly. ## Important Considerations * Be sure to pause the print just before reaching the ceiling where the magnet is printed, as any lower and the print head may hit the magnet. * For optimal results, use 50% or greater infill for threads when utilizing a support blocker. * This design cannot be used sideways; it's essential to maintain its original orientation. Due to the extreme strength of Neodymium magnets, I highly recommend super gluing the magnet to the base to prevent it from lifting up and potentially damaging the print head during resumed printing.
