Wyze Cam Pan Helmet

Wyze Cam Pan Helmet

Please be patient and understanding as this is my first design attempt. If you're a Wyze-Cam-Pan user with a ceiling fan in the same room, you've probably noticed that the camera gets distracted by ceiling fans. In fact, it often ignores its usual task of monitoring areas and tracking motion to focus on the ceiling fan instead. This DIY helmet solution blocks the camera's view of my living room ceiling fan. You might be able to replicate this setup in your home, depending on where you place it. A small tab holds the visor at a specific angle, but you can easily remove it and find another way to keep it in position that suits your needs. If anyone wants to modify this design with adjustable shield angles, feel free to do so. The base shown in the pictures is crucial because the camera tends to fall off the shelf due to the rotational force of the visor. I want to give credit to c93010 for designing and sharing the base on Thingiverse (www.thingiverse.com/thing:3097647). When it comes to printing, I find that it's best to print the helmet and visor upside-down with support material. Enjoy!
