Wyze Cam Housing Outlet Cover - Straight and 45 Degree Angle
thingiverse
Update: I added a second cam in my garage facing another door that needed to be forward-facing. I've attached a forward-facing STL file to enable smooth operation. Wyze Cam housing with a 45-degree camera slot now sits comfortably on the workbench, its box boasting an innovative lower compartment for effortless cable management. A couple of strategically placed ventilation slots ensure optimal airflow, allowing the camera to breathe freely. Given the unknown temperature fluctuations, it's wise to incorporate these vents as a precautionary measure. The hooks can be securely attached to the upper rear of the box and effortlessly clipped over an outlet cover. I utilized Gorilla Super Glue Gel for this purpose, achieving a sturdy bond despite the initial tight fit. A quick sanding or filing session resolves any issues, ensuring a snug and secure attachment. This camera is positioned in my garage, where it faces the garage door at a 45-degree angle. Printing with no supports yields excellent results, but it's essential to rotate the model 90 degrees on its X-axis during printing to guarantee a flawless face-down position on the bed. Note: My flexible outlet covers have proven compatible with this design, allowing for seamless installation. However, I haven't tested non-flexible plates and therefore cannot vouch for their suitability.
