Wyze 3 Camera Pole Mount

An outdoor mount for the Wyze 3 camera to fit a standard 2-3/8" fence post (standard chain-link pole). - This provides extra weather protection and shelter from the Sun. All gaps are overlapped downwards to prevent rainwater from penetrating. - Allows rotation in azimuth but not elevation. - Provides a bit of protection with an overhanging hood to keep rain and grime off the lens - The USB cable is routed out through the provided slot and clipped. - There is just a bit of minor vignetting by the hood in the upper corners, a balance between field of view and protection of the lens. Needed parts... - Wyze 3 camera - Two 25x3mm rare earth magnets (optional) - Four #8 threaded inserts - Two #4 threaded inserts for cable clip - Four #8 x 1/2" machine screws (stainless suggested) - Two #4 x 1/2" machine screws (likewise stainless) - Four #8 x 1/2" sheet metal screws (optional) The magnets are potentially optional but allow rotation and removal of the camera if needed. Epoxy into the recesses provided ensuring the polarity is to attract each other. The other option is to use the provided lock screw holes to permanently lock the rotation and the mount in place by rotating to the desired view, then pilot drilling through the provided holes and using small sheet metal screws. Likewise the cap can be permanently mounted to the pole by pilot drilling through the provided holes and securing the cap with #8 sheet metal screws.
