Wyvern_flying and crawling
thingiverse
I extracted the model and customized it to make it more printer-friendly (fingers crossed!). Note On The Wings: I printed the wings at 100% infill because the time and filament difference is insignificant, and since both the membrane and bone ridges are thin, I aimed for maximum sturdiness. Printing the wing straight up on the Z axis with minimal base profile on the printing bed worked out well. Canting the wing slightly backward also produced good results without requiring additional support. A brim adhesion was used to ensure secure prints since the wings printed vertically. There are two different aligning pins for the model, one smaller pin is designed for the ground-crawling wings of the model. The assembled model files are works-in-progress attached just to provide a better preview image.
