The south nave doorway of the Church of St Mary and St David in Kilpeck, Herefordshire, boasts a stunning detail of a wyvern. This intricate carving, along with all other decorations on site, was crafted in the 12th century. The village of Kilpeck is widely regarded as the crowning jewel of the Herefordshire school of Romanesque sculpture. Photos were taken during August 2019.
