Toggle between #’s 1-5 for different views Just wrapped up retopology on my very first Zbrushcore sculpt of a full dragon [retopologized in Maya 2017]. After sculpting the head in Zbrushcore, I chose to finish off the entire body (also in Zbrushcore). The sculpt came out with approximately 1.236 million faces. Following retopology, there are now a total of 11,200 faces. That's a whopping 91% reduction in total faces. It took around 15 hours in total to complete the retopology on the entire body. The entire sculpting process lasted roughly 6-7 hours. A lot of work for a 3D model... And the best part? I'm only halfway done.... Once I get the wing webbing modeled, I'll be moving on to texturing... then rigging!
