Journeys Through the Radiant Citadel model 1/10So a few months ago, when Journeys Through the Radiant Citadel came out, I decided to model all the creatures in it as a project instead of modeling based on random inspiration. This cute little guy is the first model in the set, which I've held onto since July, because now that I completed them all, I was planning to release them daily. There are 10 models total, and while some were relatively easy, others were frustratingly hard.This one falls under the "frustratingly hard" category, but for a different reason than one would think. Because this is a tiny creature, the physical size of the model should also be tiny, but at the original size I made the miniature, some of the details in the 3D printing were so small, pieces started breaking off. I feel that the final size of this model is a perfect balance between detail and fragility, with scale as the tradeoff.
