WWII Irish Pillbox / Bunker 1/76 Scale or 20mm Wargaming

thingiverse

This is the more lightly armoured version of the Pillboxes or Blockhouses built by the Irish Free State during 1940 and 1941 as part of the anti invasion planning. This one is modelled off of the surviving pillbox found in Butlersbridge in County Cavan, you can find it just before the bridge leading into the town behind a stone wall on the right as you are looking at the bridge. It is scaled for 1/76 scale and shouldnt need supports if your 3D Printer can bridge. For some reason it sits sideways so make sure you rotate it to sit on its bottom before printing.
