WW2 Generals Lamp
thingiverse
This is very basic and all that but it's my first project so I thought I'd share it. You can of course use your own pictures instead of these WW2 guys. Steps: 1. Open the pictures in your slicer software. Set them to the sizes you want but make them all the exact same dimensions. Do NOT use a raft. Make sure that the height is set to 4mm. Make sure the width is set to fit onto your baseplate and topplate with some room to spare. Mine were all 105.5mm. 2. Print the baseplate and top-plate as is or resize them if you are going bigger. But if you resize the baseplate, it might cause it to not fit onto a lamp. 3. Put the baseplate on the lamp. You need to do this before step 4 because you may have to file down or resize and reprint the baseplate if it doesn't fit your lamp. I sized it to fit a standard lamp kit but it was still very snug. 4. Put it all together using glue. I used hot-glue. That's it. Enjoy your lamp!
