ww1 Italian Farina helmet 3d print
thingiverse
This is a 3d recreation of the Italian Farina helmet from the Great War used by the sappers units. This is a size 2, if you want to modify it these are the diameters of the 3 sizes (from the interior of the rear plate to the interior of the frontal plate): I 208.5, II 218,5, III 228.5. The helmet I made is composed of 3 different parts: the frontal plate, the rear plate and the upper plate. The frontal and rear plate are attachable with 3 pins, and the upper one (only the version I, the II can be attached with a pin) can be attached with some glue. There are 2 versions, one "standard" where the upper plate sits on the other two plates, and the second where the upper plate "goes around" the other two. I also have to differentiate from the "modello basso" and the "modello alto", for which the only change is the height of the frontal plate.
