Exported with an 8192x8192 texture to capture every intricate detail imaginable, best suited for viewing on a high-definition computer screen. Processed from 398 photographs taken with a Nikon D5300 equipped with a kit lens in Agisoft Photoscan Pro software. Damage caused during a German bombing raid in World War I to the base of one of the Sphinxes that flank Cleopatra's Needle, located by the Thames River in London. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cleopatra%27s_Needle,_London The primary focus was the shrapnel damage surrounding the porphyritic granite base upon which the Sphinx stands. I made an attempt to scan the Sphinx itself, but without a means to photograph it from a higher vantage point, I was unable to obtain a satisfactory scan (View my effort: https://skfb.ly/6xJ99 )
