WW1 airplane wheel
thingiverse
This is a replica of the Flair Vintage WW1 RC plane wheel (https://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/rc-scale-aircraft-169/3197779-vintage-wheels-flair-vs-williams-bros.html?styleid=7). I've not added the rim markings or the wheel edge disc inset, you can do so in Meshmixer if desired later. I resized the wheels in Cura to get the hub length and diameter required for the project, just remember the scaling factor for the diameter so you can adjust the tire accordingly. The wheel halves will need to be glued together. You will want to experiment with the overall diameter of the tire and its cross-sectional diameter to get the look you want. Print the tire in TPU. See ianda's rendition for another take: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4065591/files. My version has a larger offset of the outer hub as was common on British planes of that era. YOu can do the same with ianda's design by deslelcting uniform scaling and then adjusting the Z-axis length in your slicer.
