The Wuhan Tianxingzhou Yangtze River Bridge serves as a sixth and second seat railway bridge within the Wuhan Third Ring's key projects portfolio. The construction began with laying foundation stone in December 2003, initiated on September 28, 2004, and completed on September 10, 2008. Open to traffic, the bridge made its debut on December 26, 2009. Notably, it is recognized as the world's largest railway bridge, designed to handle four trains at any given time, with a significant investment totaling 11.06 billion yuan.
